Breakfast in Kenrucky

We left just after 3:30 yesterday and until this morning about 4:30, had an uneventful trip. We saw a beautiful sunset just south of Buffalo and in Jeffersonville, Ohio changed bus drivers about 1:00 am. Smooth sailing until about 4:00 am when bus #2 couldn't get any speed above 30 mph. Since 7:30 we've been at Denny's in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. They are trying to repair the bus or we'll find a different one to take us the rest of the way. It's now 8:20, everyone has had a good breakfast and we're awaiting further developments. The staff at Denny's have been very accommodating and we are proud of our students' behavior. - Dick Bennett

  3. Lots of coffee for James Bock. Dennys is not a bad place to be delayed. We are thinking of you.

  4. Hannah just called. They are shopping to pass the time. We talked about putting things into perspective and what it must have been like for the people of New Orleans to have to wait on roof tops to be rescued and crammed into the sports arena for days. Keep a positive attitude!

  9. They arrived safe and sound at 4:00. Not sure what time zone that means though. New Orleans is 1 hour earlier. The most current blogs are found under "Delay Update".
